It is near Elecleurs Light-house, one hour away from the port. The ship was 160 meters long and at present there are three fourth parts of the ship.

This immersion at a depth of about 40 meters is for experienced divers.

The ship, cut and dynamited lies upside down on the bottom of the sea, so what is seen as the floor is in fact the roof.

There is a lamp in one of the holds that was hanging from the roof and now is on the floor.
The structure is not very strong, so it is not safe to penetrate, and the only possible access is through a part of the old chimneys.

You will also see parts of old ventilation pipes and alluminium stairs.

On the bottom in the deepest part there are pieces of crockery and full bottles with their original content.

This shipwreck is one of the most interesting diving spots and one of the most frequented ones. You are really lucky if it is not windy the day you go diving.

The fauna and flora in this area are very rich.
Algae are the most important presence on the bottom of the sea. They are primitive plants called cochayuyos reaching 30 to 40 meters and forming coast forests which attenuate the waves.

The luche is another type of seaweed of an intense red color eaten in Chile.

As regards fauna, those with pores live on the bottom, like white and orange sponges; anemones live under the rocks, and big violaceous spring tides float in the middle of the water.

Starfish, hedgehogs, sea dollars and sea cucumbers are seen in almost all immersions.

As regards mollusks, there are mussels in deep waters, and crustaceans are also important. Spider crabs reach up to one meter diameter and are of high commercial value.

As regards fish, there are hakes and fuegian sardines.

Mammals also live around the islands. There are sea wolves and dolphins.

Ushuaia is such a generous land that you will surely want to return.
