Apart from the mysterious Mesopotamian landscape, with beaches of fine sand, green spaces that meet the needs of their visitors without any need to go beyond the boundaries of the city, and an important cultural heritage, Gualeguaychú, just like any other tourist center, has an interesting night life, capable of keeping awake whoever visits it till the small hours.
After enjoying an intense day on the beach, entire families gather in the various restaurants located on Avenues 25 de Mayo and Costanera to taste exquisite regional dishes, by the Gualeguaychú riverside, giving birth to a ritual that promises to last till dawn.
Specialties of boga, pacú or surubí in lemon dressing join the traditional gastronomic proposals of barbecues, homemade pasta or pizza on the way. When dinner is over, street shows become the protagonist of the scene. During the "preliminaries" of discos, multiple "living statues", "batucadas", jugglers and "a la gorra" street artists give tourists the present of joy and encounter.
After midnight, it is the adolescents who are in charge of delaying the entrance to "discos". Pubs such as Amarello, Babylon , Six, or La Cabaña de Miguel, are the ones that summon the various urban "tribes" that are identified according to the music played in each place.
Once the early hours come, the sites chosen by most tourists are El Ángel and Bikini . In the former, you can enjoy an excellent comical music show of transvestites, where humor is the main condiment of the evening. Tropical drinks, lights and digital Dolby sound put an end to the night in 78 San Lorenzo Street .
At Bikini everything is dancing. Youths of all ages gather to dance and spend a good time with friends, enjoying the top hits of the season. DJ Tole makes everybody in Avenues Costanera and 25 de Mayo vibrate with his music selection.
Once dawn has come, the intense Gualeguaychú evening comes to an end.
