It was projected by the architect Bernardo Poncioni. The land that occupies was one of the 85 lots distributed by Tomás of Rocamora in 1783. The construction of the house probably dates of the years 1800, being the first of its type. Their wide walls and the scarce decoration stand out that only includes molds curved on the openings, not very prominent cornices and grills.
In 1830, Josef Antonio of Haedo and their wife Petronila Lamb bought the old construction and they carried out him improvements. September of 1845 Garibaldi 20 arrived to Gualeguaychú and it occupied it with the purpose of establishing their general barracks. In 1985, the house became municipal property, it was restored and transformed into museum, where interesting objects of the urban history are exhibited.
Leaving the museum, advance three blocks for Rivadavia and double to the left for President Rock. When arriving to Urquiza, by hand right, will see the Theater Gualeguaychú , inaugurated May 14 1914 with the opera Aída of Verdi. Their architecture is of net French court and the curtain of the mouth of the scenario is made of velvet Genoese embroidery. They have gone by this scenario, among other, José Antonio Podestá and Pedro Palacios, known literarily as strong Alma .

Built in 1920, it was the residence of the family Iruzustade Deken that donated it to the county and this, in turn, gave it to the municipality in 1988.
