The town of Yavi originated in 1667, product of one commends that it belonged to Pablo Bernández of Obando and, years later, to Country José, married with Mercy Obando who in 1707 they obtained the I title of marquises of Tojo.
From Yavi, headquarters of the marquisate, several country properties of the punajujeña were administered, integrated by the towns of Hillocks, Casabindo, Cochinoca, Corner and Santa Catalina. |
