Pier Noir

Originating of the French area of Bourgogne , it is also used vinificado in target for the champagne. It is of difficult adaptation and their cultivation is a challenge in Argentina . For the red wine it would seem to be better in the cold areas of the High Valley of Black River and in the heights of the Valley of Uco ( Mendoza ) or in some parcels of the High River Mendoza. Their aroma frutado of cherries has notes that remember to the mushrooms.

It is the stump it par excellence tints of the wines of The Bourgogne; and at the same time it is one of the three grapes allowed for the elaboration of the Champagne, for that which owes vinificarse like white wine, the grape is pressed that is to say immediately after the vintage so that the pulp is not tinted with the color of the skin (husk).

It produces slight wines and of not very intense color, with fruit-bearing and floral aromas. Of impactante step for the mouth, offers elegant, with very pleasant flavors and of encircling body.

This variety requires many cares since its skin it is very thin, what makes it fragile before certain illnesses and doesn't adapt to all the climates.

The Pinot Noir is developed exclusively in cold climates and in Argentina gives its best exponents in the High Valley of Río Negro.

The food
